Taco Bell's Iced Cinnabon Delights Coffee Review

Taco Bell’s Iced Cinnabon Delights Coffee Review

When it comes to food, drink, and how those two interact sometimes we need to toe a very fine line. In my opinion, most Americans probably take on caffeine and fast food more than they should. At one point in my life, there was a phrase to help cope with this and it was simply “YOLO”.

However, if you’re in the market for fast food and caffeine Taco Bell is certainly an option and Taco Bell’s Iced Cinnabon Delights Coffee is an option they offer. From a marketing standpoint, this has to be top tier right? Iced coffee, Cinnabon flavoring, and all manner of combinations of the worst-best fast food on the planet.

Now am I saying “Get coffee, get T-Bell, get stomach destruction, and be America”? No. I am conveying that if you’re on the move or need to have food come to you and you need a little cheap with a lot of bang for your buck, I will at least cover the coffee part.

Nutrition Facts For Taco Bell’s Iced Cinnabon Delights Coffee

If you’re interested in getting this coffee treat from your local Taco Bell, for a 16oz pour you’re getting 160 calories, 2g total fat, 1.5g saturated fat, 0g trans fat, 5mg cholesterol, 85mg sodium, 34g total carb, 0g dietary fiber, 22g total sugars, 22g added sugar, 1g protein, 20mg calcium, 140mg of potassium, and XX caffeine.

For a 16oz serving you’re still getting hit really hard with the sugar side of things but it is coffee and I find that sugar and caffeine work wonders better when they are teamed up. What I would say based on experience and opinion is, to understand what coffee does and understand what Taco Bell does before considering having both the Iced Cinnabon Delights Coffee and the food of Taco Bell together. Unless you’re just looking for a holistic colonic, that consideration and dietary information considered how is the flavor?

Taco Bell Iced Cinnabon Delights Coffee

If Doughnuts Are For Coffee, Cinnabons Are Too!

When we get the iced coffee (which I had delivered this time) there is no ice, it is just cold coffee. It looks like it is just a very light coffee (the ingredients for the coffee have vanilla creamer and Cinnabon’s flavoring listed) nothing standout. In tasting the coffee there is a blending of vanilla, cinnamon, likely some form of glaze that was liquified, and the taste of industrial-grade burnt coffee. I say this because the beans sting through the flavor, even when you’re at the bottom where the good stuff sits.

I find that sometimes when we want to cross-promote products or interweave certain things (i.e. Doritos locos tacos) we can birth unique and fun food and drink items. Other times, there’s just a label with a logo being slapped onto the product and that’s the extent of it. I find that this coffee is likely the latter, and I’d like to climb off now.

I would give this a 5/10 because aside from it MAYBE beating out a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts in price, the flavor just isn’t special. Objectively, if you put this and a coffee with vanilla creamer side by side, you’d likely think you got two vanilla coffees, nothing Cinnabon about it. Also, unless Taco Bell revamps their breakfast menu, getting coffee from here doesn’t make a lot of sense to me and it would still be a thing I waved a hazard or caution flag towards, knowing the interactions of both items on the human body.
