Coconut Berry Red Bull Review

Red Bull Coconut Berry Energy Drink

When it comes to getting the skeletal mech our brain drives from point a to point b to point z, it’s not unusual to commit to a greater caffeinated fuel source. One of the most popular and longest-running that people swear by is Red Bull. It is known for its slim cans, bulls on the can design, and typically a more premium price point for the liquid within.

Red Bull was a steady flavor for a long time committing only to a zero-calorie version and at one point even having a Red Bull Cola (fun times for this one). However, they’ve gone on to introduce some flavors that have swayed Red Bull purists to put these in place of the standard flavor. Some even swear by their superiority.

Personally, Red Bull is not my go-to nor is it my go-two, or go-three, and is most likely only my last resort. That said, when I saw the Coconut Berry, my interest forced me to hit the brakes of my bony vehicle and extend my claw mechanism to see what this drink is all about.

I think some common sense items should be addressed here:

1. Don’t drink if you don’t like coconut. Even though it is subtle, you may get mad about spending money on this drink. The coconut flavor is the first thing you will notice.

2. If you are caffeine sensitive, have a heart condition or think you should try this on a day with large anxiety possibilities, maybe this isn’t the drink for you.

3. See if you can find this on a day that the store offers a “2-For…” deal. There’s no sense in paying $3.00USD for a beverage even if you love your caffeine fix.

4. Regardless of who you are, please don’t drink more than 1-2 in a given day, and don’t go crazy on them throughout your week.

Red Bull Coconut Berry Flavor Review

Let’s get to the Coconut meat of the matter. Is this even a nice sweet taste or does it echo the car air freshener taste we seem to get in synthetic or added coconut flavor? The flavor body of this drink presents a refreshing separation of the coconut and berry that it contains. The berry is the more dominant of the flavors and the coconut is a smooth finishing note you’ll arrive at between sips. It does not leave an aftertaste that is bad or energy drink sweetener heavy.

It is light but the carbonation, and likely the Pantothenic acid, is sharp on the taste buds. The coconut is a smooth and sweet flavoring and is not chalky or forced. The berry is robust and has a collection of sweet and tangy fruits.

Would I drink this again? Yes, it’s very clean and tasty. I would say that this easily hits a 7.5 out of 10 with this flavor grouping.
