About Pringles Philly Cheesesteak
It’s you and the squad at one of your residences, getting ready for a big game (or several). The big meal is on-lock, the drinks are all accounted for, but what are the studs, studettes, and pleasant people of your group going to graze upon? Do you have a Billy Butterfingers who drops the plate every time? Do you have a Sally Spill-it-all getting ready to dump food everywhere? Or is it Ferdinand Fumblerooski that makes the mess of the day?
If you have these people in your life, getting snacks that increase spill prevention is a must. Pringles gives us a decent amount of chips and places them in a tube. It protects everyone’s home space. Pringles Philly Cheesesteak is a way to get us a snack that ideally, should prepare us for the main course. They are a Wal-Mart® exclusive in case you were considering looking all over the town.
If your fandom lives within Philadelphia, you’re really scratching a few things off the “Must-Haves” list for your game setup. For the city of brotherly love, this food stands out as a staple and for all the right reasons. We’re talking about carbs, protein, dairy, and vegetables, all on a sandwich that’s gonna take you to food Valhalla. Only this time, it’s in a Pringles Philly Cheesesteak chip.

If we take the above logic for a game, this section will likely be skipped. On the chance that you’re considering snack foods for other events or just a night in, here are the finer details. A serving of 14 crisps will net you 150 calories, 9g fat, 2.5g saturated fat, 0g trans fat, 0mg cholesterol, 180mg sodium, 16g carbohydrates, less than 1g dietary fiber, less than 1g total sugars, 1g protein, 0.2mg iron, and 100mg potassium.
Factoring that out at 10 calories a crisp (give or take) you’re really not doing too bad, especially if we consider this a more long-winded event. You’re also lessening the chance of an actual Philly cheesesteak meeting/meating your carpet which everyone can attest is great. You aren’t going to be as full as if you had the warm bread that sandwich would be served in, Pringles Philly Cheesesteak is off to the races.

Can This Philly Special Ring The Liberty Bell in Victory?
If we keep our expectations in check we know that Pringles Philly Cheesesteak isn’t going to be a small Philly Cheesesteak, unfortunately. However, it can still be pretty potent if the seasonings and spices used are correctly applied in the snack lab. Besides, the saying is “once you pop, the fun don’t stop” right?
Once you open the Pringles Philly Cheesesteak tube you’re going to know that they at least applied an agreeable amount of cheese. When you commit to the bit and bite the bullet (or chip) you’ll notice that there are great levels of onion and garlic powder included. The first side, cheese, is tasting right.
As you continue your bite though, you’ll find that there’s a drop off where there should be some pepper or a bridge to a meat taste. Now, if you’re of the opinion that a Philly Cheesesteak can be done without meat, these are a solid bet for you. For the rest of us, it isn’t a big disappointment but this is definitely an area that could have used a little more attention.
The chips don’t have any odd tastes that linger and if you’re up for cheese, its better to go this route than clog the digestive tract with actual cheese. If this is the snack for the big game or event, your cheese-loving guests are going to love it. I’m giving these a 7/10 and at some point, I’ll have them again in the future.
