Pringles French Fries And Ketchup Review

Pringles French Fries & Ketchup

I was feeling a little snacktitude adjustment coming my way. I felt like trying something off my beaten path of crave-able snacks. Generally, I love fries and ketchup, but I don’t get snacks flavored like them. Much the same as someone who might like bananas but hates banana-flavored candy. Today I found Pringles French Fries & Ketchup and decided I had held off on doing snacks this way for too long.

I love French fries and ketchup enough that it should be able to extend over to potato chips, surely. With a can in hand and hope in my heart, I marched myself to the world-famous Walmart Self-Checkout. I was directed to a machine like herded cattle so that I could then pay for my find. I then headed to my car to try them out.

Just another Saturday night in the life!

Nutrition Facts for Pringles French Fries & Ketchup

Fortunately for us that go the Pringles route, we just have to avoid eating a whole tube instead of a whole bag. At least on its head, it sounds better and easier. The fat to chew here is that one serving of 14 chips has 150 calories, 9g total fat, 2.5g saturated fat, 0g trans fat, 0mg cholesterol, 220mg sodium, 16g total carbohydrates, less than a gram dietary fiber, 1g total sugar, 1g added sugar, 0.3mg iron, and 110mg potassium.

Easily this has to be the better-facing option between these and actual French fries, but does Pringles French Fries & Ketchup have the flavor that really makes it worth going that route?

Can We Really Save Dipping Energy, By Getting These Chips?

The feeling of sitting down with a group of friends, a date, or by yourself and getting a hot plate of fries with that tomato-flavored aide is a fond memory. This is especially true if those fries are garlic, garlic truffle, or some crazy concoction with just a small amount of ketchup added. There’s no high enough level to correctly emphasize a chef’s kiss here, but try.

The flavor of these chips is sadly not worth investing time or money into. To paint the picture for you, imagine you put ketchup on fries that got cold and lost their crunch and saltiness. Now you’ve tasted these Pringles. I’m definitely a fan of ketchup but to say that there’s a worthy flavor of it or French fries in this can would be a false advertisement.

Without hesitation, this snack earns the 1/10 seal of disapproval and unless reformulated has no reason to even crop up in thought. At least the can is recyclable, just like the income that went into buying them.
