Nutrition Facts For Jelly Belly Sunkist Citrus Mix

It is time to sit down and try out these bad boys. Before we get to the tasting, let’s take a look at what we’re getting out of a serving of these jelly beans. I know they’re candy, but I have to be thorough.

A single serving of Jelly Belly jelly beans contains 110 calories. It has a recommended serving size of 27 pieces. Each serving contains 15mg of sodium and 27g of carbohydrates. This includes 20g of added sugars.

While jelly beans may not be the healthiest snack, the serving size to calorie ratio is decent for a candy. Honestly, I don’t think I would ever eat 27 jelly beans in one sitting.

Jelly Belly Sunkist Citrus Mix Review

Jelly Belly Sunkist Citrus Mix Review

I am a huge fan of citrus candy. I know, I know, everyone loves chocolate, and fruit candies are for kids. Do you know what I tell people like that? I don’t, I just swiftly cut them out of my life.

Jokes aside, I thought the Sunkist Citrus Mix was pretty good. My favorite is definitely the Sunkist Pink Grapefruit. That said, I do have a soft spot for grapefruit in my heart. I thought the lemon flavor was awesome as well.

I had a hard time telling the difference between the Sunkist Orange and Sunkist Tangerine flavors. The colors are close enough to each other that I was never fully confident in which one I was eating. That said, they weren’t bad.

For the last flavor, I will preface this by saying I am not a huge fan of lime candy. However, this wasn’t the worst lime candy flavor I have ever tasted. I really can’t stand when lime candy tastes like the way floor cleaner smells. You know what I’m talking about. I thought the flavor of the Sunkist Lime jelly beans was fairly balanced.

Overall, this is a decent mix of jelly beans. I wasn’t wowed by every flavor, but I have found a new favorite in the realm of grapefruit. I typically don’t eat jelly beans that often, but I found this to be a good experience.
